JobAmmo helps you build job application kits. That only works if you trust us with your CV, so this page explains in plain language what we collect, why, and what your rights are.

Prefer the short version? See the privacy section of our FAQ.

What we collect

  • Email address: when you save a kit, download the checklist or join the waitlist.
  • CV and profile data: the CV you upload or paste, plus the name, contact details and education you add to your profile. By default this lives in your own browser (localStorage). If you create an account, your kits and profile are also stored in our database so they sync across devices.
  • Job listings you submit: used to generate your application kit.
  • Usage data: anonymised page views and clicks (source channel, page path). We do not use third party advertising trackers.

How we use your data

  • To generate your application kit: your CV text and the job listing are sent to Anthropic (Claude) to write your documents. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
  • To email you: the checklist you requested, a copy of your kit, or launch updates you signed up for. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
  • To improve the product: aggregated, anonymised usage statistics.
  • We never sell your data. We never share your CV with employers or recruiters.

Where your data lives

  • Kits and profiles of signed-in users are stored with Google Firebase (Firestore, EU region: europe-west4).
  • Emails are sent through Resend.
  • Document generation runs on the Anthropic API.

How long we keep it

  • Local kits stay in your browser until you delete them or clear your browser data.
  • Account data is kept until you delete your account or ask us to remove it.
  • Email subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

  • You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time.
  • Email mitchell@jobammo.com and we will respond within 30 days.
  • You also have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the Netherlands: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
