Getting started
What do I need to get started?
Two things: your CV and the job listing you want to apply to. Upload or paste your CV once, then paste the text of any listing. JobAmmo builds the kit from those two inputs.
How long does it take?
About 10 minutes from pasting the listing to a complete kit. The free CV score takes around 30 seconds.
Do I need an account?
No. You can generate your first kit and check your CV score without an account. An account is only useful if you want your kits synced across devices.
What language will my documents be in?
The JobAmmo site is in English, but your documents follow the language of the vacancy. Apply to a German listing and your CV and cover letter come out in German.
Privacy and your data
Where is my CV stored?
By default, in your own browser (localStorage) and nowhere else. Only if you create an account are your kits and profile also stored in our database (Google Firebase, EU region) so they sync across devices.
Who can see my CV?
Nobody but you. Your CV is never shared with employers, recruiters or anyone else, and it is never sold. It is used for exactly one thing: generating your kit.
Is my CV used to train AI?
No. Document generation runs on the Anthropic API, and Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. Your CV is input for your kit, nothing more.
How do I delete my data?
Local kits disappear when you delete them or clear your browser data. If you have an account, email hello@jobammo.com and we remove your data within 30 days.
Which services process my data?
Three: Google Firebase (database, EU region) for signed-in users, Resend for the emails you request, and the Anthropic API for document generation. The full details are in our privacy policy.
AI and quality
Won't recruiters know this is AI?
The output is built from your actual CV, your experience and the specific job listing. It doesn't use generic phrasing. It uses yours. Most people who've seen the output say it reads more naturally than what they'd write themselves.
Can the output be wrong?
Yes, occasionally. AI can miss nuance or phrase something you would say differently. That is why nothing is ever sent automatically: you review every document and edit anything before it goes out. Treat the kit as a very fast first draft that is 95% done.
Does JobAmmo invent experience I do not have?
No. Every deliverable is built only from what is actually in your CV and profile. JobAmmo rephrases and repositions your real experience for the listing. It never fabricates jobs, skills or results.
Pricing and guarantee
What exactly is free?
Your first kit, with the full CV text rewritten for the listing, the opening of your cover letter, the first interview question with guidance, and unlimited CV scores. The text is yours to keep and copy, no account needed.
What does the Template Unlock include?
The presentation layer for your free text: all 5 CV templates in the company's colour, a watermark-free PDF ready to send, and your full cover letter as .docx. It is a one-time unlock per kit.
What exactly is the 30-day guarantee?
Use JobAmmo on real applications. If you don't receive a single interview invitation in 30 days, email us and we'll give you a full refund. No forms, no arguments, no explanations needed.
How do refunds work?

Will it work for me?
Will this work for my industry or role?
JobAmmo works for any role with a written job listing: tech, marketing, finance, creative, operations, healthcare. If there's a listing, JobAmmo can build your kit.
Does it work for my country's CV conventions?
JobAmmo is built for the conventions used in the UK, US, Australia and Europe: reverse chronological, no photo where that is standard, and ATS-parseable formatting. The output adapts to the vacancy's language and market.
Does it work for senior roles, or just juniors?
Both. The kit is built from your CV, so the depth matches your experience. Senior CVs get the same treatment: sharper positioning, quantified impact and keywords that match the listing.
How is this different from a regular CV builder?
A CV builder gives you one document. JobAmmo gives you nine. CV, cover letter, interview prep, salary script, follow-up emails and LinkedIn profile, all written for the specific job you're applying to.
